International Driving Permit

Before you start

1. 1

You must hold a valid Saudi driving licence; the service is for citizens and residents of Saudi Arabia only.

2. 2

The international permit does not replace your Saudi licence: carry both when driving abroad. It cannot be used inside Saudi Arabia.

3. 3

It is valid for one year from issue and cannot be reprinted if lost or damaged — a new permit is issued at the full fee.

Requirements

• Front of your Saudi driving licence
• A recent personal photo
• Passport data page
